Welcome to The Billie Holiday Theatre's 39th Season.

I am thrilled to present three brand new, world premiere plays by the dynamic, prolific writer, Jackie Alexander, author of the BHT hit The High Priestess of Dark Alley.

Jackie's view of the African/Caribbean American community parallels that of the Theatre's mission; to quote Jackie, "As a writer, my work has tended to focus on the importance of responsibility, both personal and civic. So with this trilogy I want to share my belief that the best way for the African/Caribbean community or any community for that matter, to thrive, is for those within it to make valuing each other a priority."
